Welcome!

Welcome friends and family! So, if you are reading this blog you know we'll be soon on our way to South Africa. If you haven't heard already we; Matt and I, along with Matt's mom Karen and sisters, Chyvonne and Ashley will be spending the next few weeks traveling Southern Africa. The main reason for the trip is to see Karen graduate with her Ph.D. in Education Curriculum from Stellenbosch University. However, our adventure will also include a hike up Table Mountain, a jaunt through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, a Wine Country excursion, a visit to Robben Island, a listen to local music, and a meeting of friends of Karen's in a near by township. Another, exciting highlight of our trip is a one night lay over in Amsterdam, where we will be meeting with my best friend ever Jenna and her awesome husband Bobby.

We will be leaving this coming Saturday for 2 1/2 weeks. We arrive in Cape Town Sunday night and will be staying in Stellenbosch. So, let's hang out before we leave!
